He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Sharon Ann (Willett) Pemberton, whom he married on July 10 1960 in Newport Kentucky. He is also survived by a son, Warren Russell "Rusty" Pemberton and his wife Jacqueline Marie (Lowe) Pemberton of Chester, SC; a granddaughter, Adreanne Marie Pemberton Walters and her husband Charles Andrew Walters of Rock Hill, SC; a grandson Brantley Logan Pemberton and his wife Haleigh Celeste Williford Pemberton of Chester, SC; a great grandson Charles Warren Walters of Rock Hill, SC; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, George H. "Joe" Pemberton, Donald J. Pemberton, James Fredrick Pemberton, Jerry Leroy Pemberton, Mary Lou Pemberton, Eleanor Ann Pemberton; nieces and nephews Pamela Sue Pemberton Shaw, Melanie Ann Pemberton Ruse, Dianne Marie Pemberton, Jerry Lawrence Pemberton, Kevin Eugene Pemberton, Keith Michael Pemberton and best friends Abby and Dusty. He also wanted to thank his sister-in-law Donna Crawford Gibson of Buford and home health aide Lisa Hibbs of Hillsboro for their help and care, and Hospice of Hope, Council on Aging and the Laurels of Hillsboro. In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
