West Virginia meeting to focus on hunting, trapping, fishing

CHARLESTON — The West Virginia Natural Resources Commission will meet 1 p.m. Sunday at Hawks Nest State Park in Ansted where a live stream of the meeting will be available.

The meeting is open to the public and those who attend in person will have an opportunity to make comments. COVID-19 safety guidelines must be followed.

The live stream of the meeting will be posted to the West Virginia Department of Commerce’s YouTube channel and will be accessible on the DNR’s Facebook page. A call-in option will also be available by dialing 475-441-5340 and entering 626725923# when prompted for a pin number.

The agenda includes the approval of the 2022-2023 Small Game and Furbearer Hunting and Trapping Regulations and the 2022 Fishing Regulations.
