Macoupin and Morgan counties were among the top for bobcat hunting and trapping during the past season, according to information from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

Although Jefferson County reported the highest harvest number among the 43 counties in which licenses were available, Macoupin and Morgan counties were second and third, respectively.
