“Our mission is to preserve and protect the renewable resources and pass on the trapping heritage. Educating the public (particularly the youngsters) is our major goal. Our educational endeavors include: Annual Trapper Workshop, booths at three fairs, subscriptions to Fur-Fish-Game magazine donated to 26 U.P. schools, along with as many positive public relations we can create. All of these endeavors are done on a strictly voluntary basis. Your participation in this banquet will help to insure that all the efforts of U.P. Trappers of District 3 will continue. Come on in, have a good time, win a nice prize, enjoy good food and drinks along with camaraderie and you will be supporting a good outdoor activity and heritage,” said Roy Dahlgren, president of U.P.Trappers Dist. 3.
