Hampton - Robert S. "Bob" Moore, 84, of Seabrook, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
He was born on November 21, 1937, in Salisbury, MA a son of the late Fred S. and Clara (Jones) Moore. A lifelong Seabrook resident, he graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1955.
Bob worked at Welpro for a number of years before becoming the Code Enforcement Officer for the town of Seabrook, retiring in 2003. An active and respected member of the Seabrook community, he served as Town Selectman from 2006-2012.
Family and friends were most important to Bob. Always staying busy, he enjoyed lobstering, fur trapping, clamming and coaching youth baseball.
Surviving family members include his wife of 63 years, Jean (Littlefield) Moore of Seabrook; children, Jon Moore and his wife Alice, Mark E. Moore Sr., and Rob Moore and his wife Katherine all of Seabrook; grandchildren, Lacey Fowler, Judith Rinehold, Jonal Moore, Darrell Moore, Mark Moore Jr., Christopher Moore, Branden Moore, Shane Moore, Megan Moore, John Moore, Madeline Moore, Lindsey Hart, Katherine White, Brian White and Sydney White; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Evelyn Fowler and Gary Moore and grandson, Robert A. Moore Jr.
Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
