FHA’S REMOTE AUCTION WILL BE ARRANGED BY THE END OF THE WEEK
With the effective closure of Canada’s borders to most non-Canadians, FHA has postponed its live auction
until late May. We have been encouraged by the trade to proceed with a remote auction process, which we
are currently preparing. We understand the desire of all buyers to have access to our outstanding wild fur
collection as soon as possible, but we remind everyone that the auction was not originally scheduled to start
until March 24. In announcing our remote version of an auction by the end of this week, we are not delaying
buying opportunities.
The auction will be organized to be fair to all interested buyers. The complete catalog will be available to
registered buyers, with our valuations, and the deadlines for bidding will be strictly adhered to. There will
be no private treaty sales prior to the remote auction. It is our intention to sell where we can, but we do
intend to hold close to reasonable values. More details will be announced over the next few days.
