Leading luxury fashion brand Oscar de la Renta will officially end all fur sales following pressure from pop singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, who graced the Met Gala’s red carpet on Monday wearing a tulle ball gown from the label.

Eilish, an animal rights activist who is vegan, posted images on Instagram of her at the high-profile annual fashion event in New York City wearing a nude tulle dress with a 15-foot train, writing in a caption, “It was an honor to wear this dress knowing that going forward oscar de la renta will be completely fur-free.”
