During his nearly 30 years with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Dave Mitchell has continued to advance through the organization thanks to his passion for conservation, his leadership in advancing the agency’s wildlife programs on the regional level, and his dedication to developing quality habitat for the state’s many birds and mammals.

After starting as a Lehigh County wildlife conservation officer in 1992, the longtime Weisenberg Township resident went on to become first a land management officer and then a land management supervisor in the agency’s Southeast Region, working to enhance and improve habitat on the region’s many game lands.
