Father and son trapping
Join us as the Outdoor Skills Academy pro-staff walks through the ins and outs of starting a trap line. Topics covered will include how to set dirt and water sets, lures, and scouting.

The class will start at the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center in at 10 a.m. and will run four to five hours. We will start the day in the classroom and then move to the hiking trail around the center. The trail is ADA-accessible and easy to walk. Once outside we will demonstrate how to set your trap line, find furbearer sign, etc.

All students will leave with the firsthand experience that will increase your chances this upcoming trapping season.

Cost is $25, which includes lunch, a trapping book and a trap.

Registration is required. Participation is limited to 30.

Register for the trapping clinic.
