April 2, 1935-July 13, 2019

Larry Allen Barden, 84, of LaSalle, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the North Colorado Medical Center.
He was born on April 2, 1935, in Greeley to Edwin W. and Wilma A. (Cardwell) Barden.
Larry graduated from Pierce High School in 1953.

On Sept. 15, 1954, he married Marilyn Rasmussen in Fort Collins.
Mr. Barden was a past member of the Pierce United Methodist Church, the Century Masonic Lodge in Greeley and the Eastern Star. He loved fishing, hunting, trapping, bowling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Rodney (Tami McClung) Barden of Eagle Rock, Mo.; daughter, Suzette (Lupe) Chacon of Gilcrest; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Barden; son, Roger Barden; parents, Edwin and Wilma Barden; and infant grandson, Brandon Barden.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Ave., Evans. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2019, also at the Moser Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to American Diabetes Association and Alzheimer’s Association in care of Moser Funeral Service.
