The spread of COVID-19 keeps unfolding, and so do the strict measures introduced by Danish and European authorities. On March 23, the Danish government extended the lockdown for an additional two weeks.

Despite the effect this continues to have on our daily operations, our priority is to guarantee the safety of our shippers, customers and employees. As industry leader, it is also the responsibility of Kopenhagen Fur to act in the best interests of everyone in the fur trade. To reconcile all the demands, we are exploring a range of digital platforms to host the April auction as planned.

To make the auction process as smooth, convenient and transparent as possible for all parties, we have been in continued contact with our customers to make sure our chosen solution provides them with the desired functionalities and an easy-to-use platform.

-As demand begins to recover in our primary markets, we will contribute in any way we can to get production back on track, says Per Knudsen, Chief Auctioneer at Kopenhagen Fur.

In the coming weeks, we will continue to keep you informed of any further developments.

Thank you for your support.
