George C. Camburn III

George C. Camburn III, born December 13th, 1950 in Sea Isle City NJ passed away on February 1st, 2023 under the care of Inspira Medical Center in Vineland NJ. He lived in Florida for over 30 years before moving back to Port Norris, NJ. Growing up in Port Norris, George was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and working on the oyster boat. He also enjoyed going to the casinos and traveling, especially to the Florida Keys. George proudly served his country in VietNam from 1969-1971. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Belleplain, the American Legion in Florida and the DAV. He retired from the Miami-Dade Public School System. George was survived by his loving wife Tangie Jessie-Camburn, his daughters Anna Camburn, Charlotte Camburn, Crystal Camburn, his step daughters Rebecca LaBonne, Jennifer Inferrera, his grandchildren; Arya, Richard, Mackenzie, Nicholas, Katelin, Kayla, Elayna, Jacob, Gabrielle, Mackenzie, Juliana and Dougie, great grandson Christopher. He was also survived by his brother Robert Camburn and sister Brenda Berry along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends. George is predeceased by his mother Emma Hanby-Camburn, Father George C. Camburn Jr, brother Joseph Camburn and sister Lorraine Camburn. Funeral Services will be held at Hoffman Funeral Home, 2507 High Street, Port Norris, NJ on Wednesday February 8th, 2023. Viewing will be held from 12pm-1pm. Services will begin at 1 PM with Reverend John Lore. The Interment will be held in Haleyville Cemetery following the services.
