By an almost unanimous vote, the town of Lexington has adopted a bylaw forbidding the sale of new fur products in the community.

The ban encompasses selling new articles of clothing, accessories and home decor made with real animal fur, according to the MSPCA-Angell, which lauded the measure’s passing.
