KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police say a coyote that made it inside someone's home in Kennewick is being released back into the wild.
The Kennewick Police Department said officers were called to a house Monday for a coyote that got inside through a back door.
Authorities found the coyote curled up in a corner of the kitchen unharmed.
Police, with help from local Wildlife Control, captured the frightened coyote. Police said no one was injured in this incident.
According to a report, the coyote will be taken to a nearby sagebrush area where authorities expect the young coyote will reunite with its mother.
